According to the German Resource Camp-firefox, is now preparing a mobile version of Firefox, also codenamed Fennec, to the operating system Android. The source reports that the beta version of the browser can come in February. However, work on Firefox for Android was almost completed in December last year and then, in February this year, the beta version seems to finally be ready and released.
Recall at this time have already appeared several test versions of Firefox Mobile for such mobile operating systems like Maemo (the newest version - Release Candidate 3) and Windows Mobile (some alpha versions). It was even supposed that the work on the browser will be completed as early as last year, at least for one platform - Maemo (more precisely smartphone Nokia N900 tablet at its base). But this did not happen. It is quite possible, as soon as the final version of Firefox Mobile for Maemo yet come, although it is possible that the beta version for Android will appear first.
