There were fresh data on the new graphics processor NVIDIA GF100, built on the basis of architecture Fermi. It is reported that the accelerator on the chip GF100 able to provide hardware decoding for Blu-ray 3D video. Recall, this new format is designed to play a three-dimensional content as characteristic of the Blu-ray discs. The only "but" in this case is that the video format Blu-ray 3D can appear only in late 2012.
In addition, it became known that the graphics chip-based GF100 will have a length of 267 mm and support a new 32x antialiasing mode, and get hardware support for increasing the voltage on the GPU. But the company did not specify the first quarter of the year is meant - the calendar or fiscal.
